一 |     2027~2030년 복지정책 청사진 점검59개 사업 추진 방향 공유제6기 지역사회보장계획 중간보고회 개최경북 고령군이 향후 4년간 지역 복지정책의 방향을 담은 제6기 지역사회보장계획 수립에 속도를 내고 있다.고령군(군수 이남철)은 25일 군청 대가야홀에서 각 분야 팀장과 지역사회보장협의체 위원, 사회복지시설 관계자, 지역주민 등 40여 명으로 구성된 '제6기 고령군 지역사회보장계획 수립 TF팀'이 참석한 가운데 중간보고회를 개최했다.                   '제6기 고령군 지역사회보장계획 수립 TF팀' 현장[사진제공=고령군]이번 보고회는 2027년부터 2030년까지 추진될 제6기 지역사회보장계획의 수립 과정을 점검하고, 사회지표 분석과 주민 욕구조사, 현장 심층면접 등을 통해 도출된 주요 과제와 전략사업을 공유하기 위해 마련됐다.지역사회보장계획은 「사회보장급여의 이용·제공 및 수급권자 발굴에 관한 법률」에 따른 법정계획으로, 지역 주민의 삶의 질을 높이기 위한 사회보장정책의 기본 방향과 실행 전략을 담는다.군은 이번 제6기 계획의 비전을 '함께 성장하고 모두가 누리는 힘 있는 고령'으로 설정했다. 이를 바탕으로 지역 특성을 반영한 39개 사회보장사업과 20개 지역발전전략사업 등 모두 59개 사업을 발굴해 추진 방향을 제시했다.특히 이번 계획은 객관적인 사회지표뿐 아니라 주민 욕구조사와 현장 의견을 폭넓게 반영해 군민이 실제 생활에서 체감할 수 있는 복지정책을 마련하는 데 초점을 맞췄다.고령군은 이날 중간보고회에서 제시된 의견을 향후 계획에 적극 반영하고, 민·관 협력체계와 주민 참여를 강화해 지역 특성에 맞는 복지안전망을 구축한다는 방침이다.고령군 관계자는 "중간보고회에서 제시된 다양한 의견을 꼼꼼히 반영해 보다 완성도 높은 지역사회보장계획을 수립하겠다"며 "군민 모두가 체감할 수 있는 촘촘하고 따뜻한 이웃사촌 복지공동체를 만들어 나가겠다"고 말했다.복지 수요가 다양해지는 만큼 행정 중심의 복지를 넘어 주민과 현장이 함께 설계하는 지역 맞춤형 복지체계 구축이 중요해지고 있다.。    Colombo, Oct 19 (UNI) President Ranil Wickremesinghe is as corrupt as any other politician and he cannot save Sri Lanka from the present economic crisis, the leader of the country's largest leftist group said in remarks published on Wednesday.
Anura Kumara Dissanayake of the Janatha Vimukti Peramuna (JVP) also said that the mass protests in Sri Lanka failed to achieve its aim of capturing power although it forced President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to flee "for want of proper leadership and planning", The Island newspaper reported.
Dissanayake has said ‘Aragalaya’, as the mass protests against Sri Lanka's unprecedented economic mess was known, failed "for want of proper leadership and planning though it compelled Gotabaya Rajapaksa to give up executive powers".
He pointed out in a television interview that although the Rajapaksas’ power collapsed, "they were able to quickly regain, and consolidate political power, by installing UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe to complete the remainder of Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s term".
The JVP leader added that the incumbent Wickremesinghe administration was as corrupt as successive Rajapaksa administrations.
He felt that having forced Gotabaya Rajapaksa to flee Sri Lanka, the protest should have been diverted towards Parliament and force the government to dissolve it and call for a fresh election.
Because of this failure, the Rajapaksas succeeded in regaining political power, he added.
Commenting on former Army chief and MP Sarath Fonseka’s assertion that the ongoing anti-government struggle may lead to another armed rebellion, the JVP leader emphasized that his party wouldn’t go on that path again.
The JVP launched insurgencies in 1971 and 1987-89, leaving thousands dead.
Asked to explain the JVP's strategy, Dissanayake said they believed that the government should be relentlessly pressed until it called a general election.
“We’ll secure power through elections,” he said, warning the electorate not to be deceived by the Rajapaksas and Wickremesinghe again.
Dissanayake alleged that the the leader of the main opposition Samagi Jana Balavegaya (SJB), Sajith Premadasa, "was also part of the utterly corrupt political party system that ruined the country".
"(Premadasa) as well as a vast majority of those around him cannot absolve themselves of waste, corruption, mismanagement and irregularities though they now pretended to be paragons of virtue," he added.
